“Making life better for people impacted by cancer.” Founded by actor Patrick Dempsey in 2008, the Dempsey Center provides personalized and comprehensive care at no cost. Today, the Dempsey Center offers cancer patients, survivors, care partners, family members, and friends access to high-quality support services such as nutrition, counseling, support groups, movement and fitness, integrative therapies, and so much more. Services can be accessed in person at our locations in Lewiston and South Portland, Maine, and virtually via Dempsey Connects.
