Opening Session

Dave Craig is a two-time cancer survivor, oncology researcher and patient experience champion. After 10 years of struggling to see his own cancer journey in the patient experience research he led for the pharmaceutical industry, he left to use his survivor heart and researcher brain to help other patients. In 2016, he co-founded GRYT (“grit”) Health, a digital oncology solutions company that empowers people to be in charge of their own health through education, engagement, and support, and has served as the chief executive officer since its inception. At GRYT Health, he and his team of fellow survivors and caregivers, use their expertise and personal experiences to support the industry and create new and innovative ways to help others navigate their journey.

Dave has a bachelor’s of science in Technical Communication and MBA in Technology Management, from Rochester Institute of Technology.  He has completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School in Building New Ventures and at MIT in Corporate Strategy.

Jasmine Greenamyer is the Executive Director of Global Patient Advocacy at Bristol Myers Squibb. She has nearly 15 years of hands-on experience working for patient advocacy organizations and the biopharmaceutical industry, building strong and trusting relationships across a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders including the patient community, health care providers and policy leaders.

Jasmine received her Master of Public Health in Health Education and Health Behavior from the University of Michigan and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University. She also completed an Executive Leadership Intensive Course on Non-Profit Performance Measurement at Harvard University. Jasmine authored/co-authored several meaningful publications on various topics including global unpaid caregivers unmet emotional, financial and physical needs, defining value in cancer care, and the link between women’s health and their economic empowerment.

Bianca Muñiz is a New York based singer-songwriter and three-time cancer survivor. With a truly unique way of capturing the unspoken; she takes her listeners inside of her mind, painting unapologetic pictures of vulnerable yet passionate truths, while entangling them into her uplifting experiences, without any refrain.

With her life experiences, Bianca creates music to help heal others, as writing has helped heal her. In addition to her work as an artist, Bianca is a mental health and cancer awareness advocate as well as the Co-Social Media Director for The Breasties, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young women affected by breast and reproductive cancers through community and friendship. In addition to her contributions in New York with The Breasties, Bianca has also worked with the nonprofit in Hawaii, London & Paris.
